I would like to start by expressing my appreciation for all of your home learning efforts so far. We are so grateful for our parents and students for jumping in and embracing this new learning adventure. If you have not yet emailed me your learning highlight photos for this past week, please do so when you have a chance. It has been so exciting to see all of your photos and connect with you this week!
Please see attached for the home learning plan for next week, Monday April 6th - Thursday April 9th. Please note that Friday April 10th is Good Friday. There is no school that day as it marks the beginning of our Easter long weekend and our week of Spring Break. Learning will resume again after Spring Break on Monday April 20th.
I have attached the multiplication lesson slides for next week to this email for easy accessibility. These slides are also uploaded on our classroom website under Math > Multiplication. I have also attached the virtual vacation travel log journal slides for next week to this email for easy reference. These slides are also uploaded on our classroom website under Language Arts > Writing Prompts.
Easter Art Bonus Challenge - Hi Grade 3 Students! Since Easter is quickly approaching, we have a special Easter art bonus challenge for you if you have time next week! Using the arts and crafts supplies that you have at home, we challenge you to design an Easter egg! You can use paper, clay, real eggs… whatever you have available at home! Send us a photo of you holding your Easter egg creation to be featured on our class website in the “pictures” section. We are so excited to see your egg designs! We have included this information on the last page of the learning plan as well for your reference.
Please ensure your child has continued access to our class website for all reference documents and website links. If you have any questions or clarifications, please let me know. I am here to support you and your child.
Enjoy your well-deserved weekend! I look forward to communicating with you next week. 😊
Thank you & take care,
Mrs. Kelsey Ferguson
