Happy Friday! Here is a quick summary of what we have been up to lately in 3F:
➕ Math ➖
This week, we did a full review of 2 digit and 3 digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping. We focused on the base ten and break it down expanded form strategies. Becoming more efficient and accurate remains our ongoing goal.
📗 Science 🔨
We have been working on our engineering skills lately. We have built and tested various forms of pillars, arches, and beams. Students have been engaging in the engineering design process as they work through these various building challenges. They really love to build, test, and improve their designs!

👷♀️👷♂️ Balancing Animals Science Projects 👷♀️👷♂️
Please see attached for the Balancing Animal Project Pages that were sent home earlier this week on Monday. We looked at several project examples, discussed materials, and brainstormed ideas as a class. The kiddos went home extremely excited to begin building their balancing animals! I am looking forward to seeing their creative designs!
